International break is a time for many things, for some it's a bit of time to catch up with family that they may not see with so much club football being played, and I'm talking fans here, not players! Most United fans don't really care for international football, so this week has been a good time to get stuck into the new FIFA game. Bit of fun, innit!
First thing I've noticed is, United are actually pretty good! Loads of options and loads of depth to the squad, happy days! Pogba, Zlatan and De Gea are the best players, based on rating, but much like the actual side, there's some disagreements about whether the ratings for Martial, Rooney & Rashford are correct.
I am quite surprised with the high ratings for a lot of our players. But I'm not complaining. After not even half a season Rashford is rated the same as Luke Shaw, at 80. Bit high for a lad yet to complete a full season? Or a sign of how much he's impressed everyone so far?
I'm setting United up with a '433 defend', I go for counter-attack, telling the fullbacks to always overlap and the wingers to look for space in behind. This is pretty much how I would like to see United line up, to be honest. Especially in the tougher games. I'd go with two sitting midfielders but also tell them to use the space and get forward. Pogba is the more advanced of the three, but not quite a 'number ten'.
I've not managed to find a place for Mkhitaryan, Mata or even Rooney in my regular starting XI. Have you? How are you setting up your United side? Let us know in the comments below!
