I'm not sure there was a single United fan that reacted positively to the starting XI that we fielded today, at Swansea. In a rut of form, question marks being made about the manager, concerns over several players, but it didn't matter. The clinical United that we have not seen in weeks, turned up this afternoon and aided a poor Swansea in continuing their alarmingly poor form. About time, too!

We started the game really brightly, two shots on goal in the opening ten minutes set the tone for the rest of the game. As the 15th minute approached, Paul Pogba created a chance, which was repelled by the Swansea defence before unleashing one of the finest goals you'll see. A long range volley that scorched into the Swansea goal. Phenomenal.
Paul Pogba has now scored 15 league goals from outside the box since 2012/13.

That's 50% of his total goal tally.

Zlatan quickly followed up with two goals of his own, to silence (a few) of the ciritcs he's been getting and that effectively sealed the 3 points for United. As good as United played, though, it is worth mentioning how poor Swansea were. I see little hope they'll evade relegation if they continue with performances of that level. The second half was played out at testimonial pace as United knew they'd secured the win and Swansea knew they didn't have the firepower to overcome the three-goal deficit.
United fans who came and spoke to us after the game were quite reserved, they know wins like this are vital, but only if they're part of a more consistent United will they mean anything tangible come the end of the season. Many were looking ahead to the Arsenal game as not only a big test for this United side, but an opportunity to state our own credentials this season. Here's the fancam playlist;
