Reading defender Paul McShane is not a player renowned for his ability to beat a man but he enjoyed one of the greatest moments of his career in Saturday's 1-0 win over Huddersfield.
The 30-year-old centre-back not only helped his side to three points by keeping a clean sheet but pulled off an outrageous scoop-turn nutmeg when bombarding forward at the weekend, leaving Huddersfield's Mark Hudson in disarray.

Reading have made a great start to life under Jaap Stam and currently sit fourth in the Championship after nine games, so there was already a lot to cheer about before McShane pulled out an outrageous piece of skill, with Royals fans left calling for the Irishman to start on the wing.
I'd play Paul McShane on the wing every week 😂 #ReadingFC

I watched Paul McShane nutmeg a bloke today if that's not evidence of the Jaap Stam effect I don't know what is

And what better way to cap off a memorable weekend for McShane than by earning a place the official Championship Team of the Week!
