Sam Allardyce began his reign as England manager with a win. But it wasn't as straightforward as he'd have hoped, with Adam Lallana's last-gasp strike earning a 1-0 win away at Slovakia on Sunday evening.
Big Sam made just three changes to the team that lost 2-1 to Iceland at Euro 2016, with John Stones, Jordan Henderson and eventual match winner Adam Lallana all starting in place of Chris Smalling, Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge.
England fans will no doubt be delighted to get their World Cup qualifying campaign off to a winning start away at Slovakia, but there were more questions than answers for supporters to mull over following the game.
