Liverpool fans have been busy reacting to the news they've reportedly signed 15-year-old defender Emeka Obi from Bury, but their overriding reaction is quite surprising.
The Reds are reportedly closing in on the signing of the 6ft 5ins Bury centre-back for what is rumoured to be a six-figure fee.
Jurgen Klopp is renowned for signing young talents and the teenage centre-back, who made his professional debut in August, is believed to be on his way to Anfield, subject to visa issues being cleared.
Bury manager David Flitcroft has already sung the praises of Obi, going as far as labelleing him the best schoolboy in the country.

Liverpool fans have been quick to react to the news this afternoon, since Obi himself seemingly confirmed the transfer on his personal Twitter account.

There's no doubt that Liverpool could do with some more depth at the centre of their defence, but the signing of a 15-year-old hardly offers a quick resolution.
More than half of Reds fans online seem scared of the possible transfer, with the six-figure sum perhaps the main concern. Or maybe it's just the fact that he's 6ft 5ins tall at only 15 years of age...
