Nathaniel Clyne has gone from strength-to-strength since joining Liverpool from Southampton last season and so it's no surprise he's being linked with a big-money move to Manchester City.
The England right-back has started the new season in fine form and reports have today emerged that suggest Pep Guardiola wants to bring Clyne to the Etihad stadium for a rumoured fee of £35 million.
Unsurprisingly, plenty of Liverpool fans have reacted angrily to the rumours and don't want to see one of their standout players join a fellow title contender, no matter what the price.
I'd rather lose an arm than see Clyne go to City

Clyne to City would hurt. More consistent than any #LFC player & has been a superb signing. If he was foreign he'd be far more highly-rated.

I don't get how any LFC fan would be happy selling Clyne? There's a reason City want him - best full-back in the league.

Wouldn't sell Clyne for 50 million nevermind 35. Who you gonna replace the beat RB in the league with?? Do one, City ππΌππΌ

Can't see us selling Clyne to a big rival who have just recently bought Sterling, vital we don't become Manchester City's new Arsenal.

Clyne has played every minute of Liverpool's Premier League campaign so far this season and incredibly managed to play the full 90 minutes in over 50 matches last season.
The 25-year-old defender would be unlikely to want to leave Liverpool, given their progress under Jurgen Klopp but City are actively looking for replacements for the ageing duo of Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.
